One in contacted only from water infested with it. Some city water has a problem, BUT if you know that is the case the puppies need to be TESTED first not just treated because you feel like it.
The other is usually found in overcrowding and dirty conditions. True it can be a one time case for the breeder, but again she is just treating. she MUST know she has a problem.
The VERY least she should agree to pay for the treatments.
Stress will cause both of them to become active. They can live dormante untill stress.
As a breeder, I would pay for the treatment.
No one should have to go through this without the support of a good breeder
Did your breeder test her dogs for Liver Shunt? BtCA requires that before they are registered and bred. Is she a registered breeder with on of the Biewer Clubs or just a backyard breeder?
You can PM me anytime if you need help!
