I really think you should have your little guy checked out by the vet.
By the way, black tarry stools (or maroon colored) indicates old bleeding or bleeding higher up in the GI tract (it's partially digested), red or bright red bleeding is more often "hemorrhaging" or from lower in the GI tract.
