 how much is too much?
Walt got neutered on Thursday. The vet kept him until Friday afternoon. Since then he has been SO HUNGRY! I know they didn't feed him Thursday since they do the surgery on an empty stomach, but I thought he'd be on his normal eating schedule by now. We feed him 2/3rds in the morning and at night and he usually doesn't eat it all... Now whenever I pour his bowl he eats it all right away and gets so excited like he's being starved. He's also been scratching his bowl because he wants more. He's a little under weight so I've been giving him more but I don't want to give him too much... Is he eating too much? Is this a side affect of being neutered? |
