I think it would be best to use it as a mixer with my homecooked food for Cerise. I mixed one table spoon of it last night with her food and she liked it. This morning I added one teaspoon to her breakfast. I can't see her eating it by itself. I may ask for other samples to see if she likes them better. One box should last a long time as a mixer
