My dog is about the same. He is a "big boob?"

If I go near him with a comb or brush, he starts carrying on like he's being killed -- And, please know that I haven't even touched him. Plus, to date he has never been really combed or brushed all over because of the way he acts. (I just cut his hair very short for now to avoid the whole scene.)

I took him to the vet for shots and heard him screaming his head off back there. The vet came out laughing. She said he didn't cry when he got the shots. He did all his crying when the assistant picked him up. And that's all she did --- just pick him up.

I am discovering quickly that Yorkies are "very vocal" dogs. No doubt about that.

My approach has become --- when things need to be done - just do them as quickly as you can, let the dog yell, and get it over with as fast as possible. After all --- just who is running this show. Can't we all admit that we spoil our dogs rotten 99.99999999% of the time.

I told mine just this morning, "I can't believe that it hurts you that bad to just look at a brush." It's just pitiful!!!
