Hi,
I have a one year old yorkie. She is totally litterbox trained. I am tired of the mess of the litter and sometimes she eats it which I think can't be good for her. I buy the swheat litter so I don't think it will harm her as it is totally biodegradeable and can be flushed.

Is it possible to switch her to pads in her litterbox? Am I tempting fate by trying to do this? I don't want to undo her wonderful box habits. I was thinking of putting a pad and some litter on top and then slowly reducing the litter.

Has anyone tried this?
