She does not do any mess downstairs and goes out to empty. But I had to fix a gate to the stairway, but my bigger dog knows how to open it and the moment she manages to sneak upstairs at night, I find "evidence" all over the landing. I have no idea how to deal with it. I have to mention that I go to bed very late (around 2am) and I am up at 7am. So all the "crime" occurs during those 5 hours.
