First off welcome to YT. It's a great place to meet friends and to learn and share. Nine weeks old was way too young for a breeder to sell you that pup. Ideally 12 weeks or older. Secondly, it's fine to put a female and male puppy together, but then you have to do the responsible thing and have them spay and neutered just around six months of age. IF you aren't going to do this then you have to be responsible enough to ensure that your male does not impregnante your female which is almost impossible to prevent. There is more to breeding the just putting two dogs together. There are too many unwanted puppies as it is and so many end up in rescue, rehomed over and over or worse. IF you are truly serious about breeding, you should seek out a mentor, one who is reputable and knowledgeable. Again, there is so much more to breeding then just throwing a male and female together.
