I agree with FirstYorkie. Something is bothering him or he is trying to tell you something. When dogs do something out of the norm it is important to try and figure out what's up. One day my gang was acting really weird by my back door and I would go and look out but couldn't figure out what was bugging them. So I decided to open the slider door and look and lucky for me I looked at the dogs because they were ready for action and by then the door was open about an inch and then I looked down and there was a big rattlesnake....Pay attention to your intuition!
