Call me old fashion but I would never let my babies cry like that to the point of throwing up. That baby is missing his mom and litter mates and dogs are also social creatures that need their "pack". Buy an expen and wire crate, attach the expen to the front of the crate, cover the crate with a blanket to make it den like and if you have carpet in the bedroom, then place a wood panel under the area he will be walking around on (can make the fence smaller at night in your bedroom and out full during the day in another part of the house) and place a pee pad down along with either a dog water bottle attached to the side of the fence, or a little non-tip pet dish with water and give a toy and baby kong to chew on. Puppies "cat-nap" and need things to occupy them. Also keep in mind that since he's so young, he's going to need a little meal during the night as well. Taking the right care of a puppy will be like taking care of a newborn baby. You will lose some sleep for the first few months, but the rewards are priceless!!!
