My dogs went through their neutering like champs. The vet told me some nonsense about keeping my dogs quiet and don't let them run around, etc etc. Yeah...that didn't work. They were both running around the house like wild banshees the day after. Rosoce, my chihuahua/pomeranian/rat terrier mix totally milked it the day he got neutered. You'd've thought he was on his deathbed. When he woke up the next day though, you never would have known he got neutered. I think dogs hating the collars is normal. My dogs act like pitiful fools when you put a collar on them.
