Make sure it is just pumpkin with no spices. Organic is even better. Maybe someone can give you help with how much to give by the dog's weight. I would give em half a teaspoon once or twice a day. My gangs' weights go from around 7 1/2 to 12 1/2 lbs. Remember, they have small tummies so a little would go a long way.
