I also think it depends on the personality of each dog. My room mate and I are both single and there are no men living in our home. We have 3 females and 2 males. My 2 bassets both females are totally bonded with my room mate because she spoils them more than I do. When I scold them they run to her and hide behind her. My Shorkie is also a female and she is also bonded to my room mate. My yorkie and my shih tzu are both males and are totally bonded to me. I don't try to figure out their logic. |
