Default Bladder stones

8-month old Sadie started peeing 10 times a minute. Took to vet last Saturday, and he did no testing. Just took temperature (which was 103), said bladder infection and gave shot and pills. She was no better after 3 days. Took her back with urine sample in hand. Said sample just had protein and did x-ray. Said she has bladder stones. Gave her more pills, dry Royal Canine food and said they will dissolve in 2 weeks. She hasn't eaten since Tuesday because she won't eat the food. She is still peeing as much, only sleeping hour at a time at night and crying incessantly. Help!
