Congratulations on you new little one. Maybe you are trying too hard. Try greeting him when you come home give him a small treat and sit down. He may get curious an come over. He is also young and just learning his way around. Try not raising your voice when scolding him and reward him for good behavior. I have 4 and all have different personalities. Niki my male doesn't leave my side, Cali my oldest female bonded to my daughter. Even though I am home all the time with them.
