I think it's really important to learn how to read ingredient labels on dog food as a company can say whatever it wants about their product but they can't lie about the ingredients.
Even though chicken is the first ingredient, it contains so much water that that is what makes up for most of the weight so really the main ingredient is by-products. |
WOW! I never knew what that meant by-product meal that is! YIKES, every vet I have talked to and the breeder said to feed him Eukanuba, and it's expensive too, can't find it in the supermarket either...I have to go to Petco. Okay, I will read my labels better. Good luck to you!
