Hi everyone. My dog is scheduled to be neutered tomorrow morning. I adopted him from a person who couldn't care for him and he is 3 years old. He needs a dental cleaning because he has minor gingivitis, so the vet suggested neutering him at the same time. I know this is a common procedure, but I always walk him on a leash and he never goes outside by himself. He isn't aggressive, only marks outside, and it a great dog. I feel bad about putting him through this procedure because I don't think it's necessary in his situation.

Did you have your dog neutered?
