Try sprinkling a little bit of parmesean cheese and mixing it in with the dry food, I find this helps when Rizzo decides he doesn't feel like eating his food anymore. I find the more smell the food has the quicker he is to gobble it up. You could also nuke it for just a few seconds after sprinkling the cheese in there. Just make sure the cheese is well grated so he can't just pick out the cheese and leave behind the food
