Thank you - I am in Dallas.

In response to the others who posted about putting him in foster care... I can't do that. I work with a lot of children in foster care, and I see what it does to those children. They have no stability, and they often bounce foster homes. They do not bond, and they have a lot of other problems.

I do not wish to put anyone in that situation, even (or maybe especially) a dog. While I understand they try to provide good homes until they get adopted, I can just see what his life would be like if I did that: Foster home #1: He doesn't get along with their bigger dog; Foster home #2: They get upset because he marked somewhere; Foster home #3: They don't have time anymore; Foster home #4: They are moving and can't foster anymore; Foster home #5... No, he'll stay here where he's settled and happy until he finds a new home. He is a happy, well-adjusted dog, and I don't want to take that away from him.
