Mickey loves to go for walks but if he sees a person or dog he turns into a Yorkshire Terror!
He is so lovable and calm inside but outside he acts a crazy dog.
I have been working on this with him too.
When he barks I give the leash a little tug and say "Shh!".
I calmly look forward and keep walking like there is nothing new in sight.
If it is someone we know (kids) we stop and he calms down as soon as he greets them. The kids LOVE him in the neighborhood.
This is working and he is getting better but...
