Oh man, I think he deserves more time in jail ... But you know, at the end of the article at least he seemed to have shown some remorse: ``It's a mistake I made and I have to deal with the consequences,'' Bittner told the judge.

Unlike that article I read yesterday on msm about two 20 year old men that killed a straight dog with an arrow. Witness says that they would remove the arrow and shoot it at the dog again and again until the dog died. When they were in court, they kept giggling and laughing, and showed no remorse. They said they did nothing wrong, that after all he was just a straight dog.

I think authorities should give dog offenders lots of years in jail so they thing twice and not thing they are "just dogs".. to me they more than that, an animal being, living things that deserve love just like humans being.
