I stayed home today (this whole thing has me so stressed out) and I saw the news at 12. Apparently at 4pm today the union will vote whether or not they will return to work as early as this evening. There is a mediator group that has intervened and they want the workers to return to work while negotiations can be worked out. The TWU president Toussaint said he agrees that they should go back to work. There was also a media blackout imposed so that no further negative comments from either side can be broadcast. they feel this is keeping tensions flaired and making things harder for both sides to come together (did you see how Bloomberg called them thugs LOL). Let's keep our fingers crossed that something can be resolved by today.
