Bonnie, are you thinking for the furries? If yes, paper might be tough. I was going to say a sheet, but those do wrinkle easily. What about a jersey sheet...I wonder if those wrinkle as easy?
Another thing...if you have an Ikea near you, maybe check out the curtain area - they have huge curtains for good prices and those may work.
