Hi, both of my boys came home after being neutered. They were dropped off in the early AM and picked up around 4 PM. I would ask if there is staff there during the night because if there is not, then I would take him home. He will be tired after for a day or so and both of mine had to wear the e-collar to prevent licking of the surgical site. They both did fine. I just kept them quiet. They did sleep with us as usual but we have stairs up to our bed. I would crate him if you think he might jump. If he needs to wear the e collar, he needs it even in the crate
Stitches are dissolvable.
Teddy had a bunch of baby teeth removed and he was on some pain meds they sent him home with but he was fine and ate and such.
Dont worry about the anesthesia, it is very safe! Barney was 3 lbs. when neutered and only 12 weeks old because back I was not told to wait.
Oliver will do great!
