I was taking Max to the city to train him to walk on sidewalks and the traffic/people/other dogs/noise was too dramatic of a change for him. We have been walking on weekends in a different area that has moderate traffic and people. Now that he is accustomed to this, I am going to try taking him to the city again.
This is a good idea - a happy medium between quiet walks at home and a very busy park. Thanks.
