She developed a cough sunday morning that only happened when she came in from outside. Monday (today) the cough was not bad but laying in the bed it sounds like she is sniffing, but its shaking her whole body. I youtubed collapsed tracheas, and it does NOT sound like that at all, and she had a kennel cough vaccine. Im calling the vet in the morning, but in the mean time is there anything i can do to make her stop the horrible snoughing (snort coughing) Oh and she has a runny nose.
Thanks in advance for any advice. Im worried about her
How old is she? Since she got the kennel cough vaccine, there is a good chance she now has kennel cough. The most important thing in treating this in a puppy is preventing it from progressing to pneumonia. I would get her back to the vet asap. Usually to treat this in a puppy, the vet will want to give an antibiotic and a cough suppressant so the coughing doesn't keep them from sleeping.

Just fyi, when puppies get KC, it can take several weeks for recovery. Please keep up posted !
