You've gotten some good advice. I would add that you should have a quiet place for her to go to. She may just want to feel safe and secure in her crate or in a small area. Maggie May was in little bit of pain the night of her spay so we were able to give a bit of pain meds and she quieted right down and went to sleep. She was still a little out of sorts the next day but did not need meds. We kept her quiet and away from Hot Rod so he would bug her. By day 3 she was ready to go...it was then a matter of keeping her quiet for the next few days.
You may want to groom her prior to her spay as you should not bathe her for at least 10 days or she heals up whichever comes first. Best of luck with Molly's spay. Let us know how she does. |
