This happened to my Zoe, exactly like that. First thinning on the head, then little tufts of hair falling out and LOTS of hair in the brush...'til she finally looked like she was almost bald. In fact, her legs did end up completely bald. She did not have sores, round bald spots, nor any itching and it turned out to be ringworm! It took the specialist dermatology vet to find it and my regular vet was shocked. I hope that's not what it is, as it was a royal pain to treat and clean EVERYTHING in our home. But, she's doing great now, thank goodness. Hope your little Zoey is soon better, too!
