I have had people pet Gypsy without asking and while I am happy they think she is so cute, I wish they would ask. I always ask if I might pet another's person's dog. I do not have a problem with people picking up any of my babies cause dh is usually holding them when we go out. Mainly because of the issue of other people. Someone could easily take one of mine out of my arms due to my lack of strength.
