My husband is as bad as the rest of yours! While we're watching t.v. at night, Chester will be on the couch with us sleeping. I'll go back to the bedroom for a sec and what does hubby do? Let Chester down on the floor when he starts whining and continues to watch t.v. When I come back into the room, there's a nice little puddle in the kitchen for me... Chester also sleeps with us in bed and my husband woke me up the other morning at 1 a.m. to let me know that Chester needed to go potty, instead of just being a MAN and taking him out himself. So I get up and go outside in the FREEZING cold and when I come back in, my husband is already back asleep all snuggly in the warm blankets. We don't have any children at the moment, and I keep telling him that if I don't see some improvement in his basic care efforts, no children for him! I think for all of you young couples out there (like us) raising a puppy together before children can be a big help in husband training for future child care!
