Sorry for your situation. So sad your one has to be afraid though. I can't offer any advise but I'm sure other can offer help.
I've have read it's not good when they break skin, the situation may not be able to be rectified. If not, I can't see how it would be fair to either to have to live under those circumstances.
I hope others can give you some guideance.
