Kaytlyns mom, Maddie, was about 6 pounds. We were sitting for another yorkie at the time and they told me he had been fixed. I never saw them together. But at some point they did. I have never told this story on here but I think I need to. Anyway he weighed 6 pounds. Kaytlyn only weighs 5 so I guess we are rare ones cuz she weighs less than either of her parents. She was the only one in her litter. And as most of you know her mom passed away not to long ago due to a hernia that the vet said would be find and it wasn't. It ruptured and she passed. I have been wanting to tell this story for awhile but just couldn't put it in words. The hernia was caused from having Kaytlyn. Which like I said I had no idea she was even pregnant. She didnt gain weight or anything. She lived almost 2 years after she had her and I trusted my vet. I am searching for a new one as you can imagine. Wow I feel better telling it than I thought I would. I just wanted to say I totally don't understand the breeding of the little ones when mine had so much trouble and she was of "normal" size. I don't think it is worth it. Is the money really that important? More important than the health of you dog? Sorry so long but I needed to get this out. |
