Hi Crysta! I'm so sorry to hear about your loss! We had a black lab that we lost just a few months ago, and that was the first dog I had ever had that we had gotten as a puppy! You become so attached, and it's really hard to lose them!

I would like to tell you that from my experience.....Lexy (the lab) had a hernia and when I first noticed it, I took her to the vet, and he told me that they are quite common and as long as they stay the same size and don't get really hard, it would be okay to wait until we got her spayed to have it removed, which is what we did! She had it for probably 2 years before it was removed, and she was just fine!

I would think your little girl would do even better since she has had hers removed so early in life! I do have a question though....are you still having to pay full price for her? I don't know....I'm not a breeder, and I've only purchased one Yorkie in my life, so I'm not an expert, but I would think you would get a discount because of the hernia AND surgery, ya know?

Anyway, I hope all goes well with your new baby! I wouldn't turn away from her because of that, BUT also I have NO idea if that will affect her having babies in the future, so I'll leave that to someone with experience!

God Bless You!!
