Well, considering her age she is actually doing really well. At 12 weeks I wouldn't make any major changes in feeding, she is too young to cut back on food, the little ones need plenty to eat all the time. How much are you feeding, that could be the problem not the 3x a day. Check the bag and try to feed the amount listed, or you can check with your vet to see if they recommend something else. But at 12 weeks you cant expect much, they have itty bitty bladders, and their metabolism is probably pretty speedy. Again, you are definitely on the right track and it sounds like once she gets older and can hold it longer she'll be totally (or 99%) house trained. |
