When I have feed Taycie boiled chicken and rice when her stomach is upset the rice does seem to constipate her a little. She does poop less. This is why it is recommended to dogs with upset tummies because it helps with the diaherra.
You could try a little plain canned pumpkin, not the pumpkin pie kind, a Tsp usually does the trick for Taycie!
