We sleep with a night light on, so I pretty well know where Dudley and Kayla are all the time. Also, Dudley is good to watch out for us. If we move or roll over, he growls. Its soooo funny. He sounds like a little cat. I put him on one of the pads for his kennel that has the thick edges around it. I worry more about him going to sleep and rolling off the bed than kicking him off. That little edge would be enough to at least help him not to roll completely off. Kayla likes to sleep with her head on my pillow. Dudley is more down at our knees. We bought a sleep number bed a few years ago that is alot lower than our Serta. I don't let any of them on it. One of my schnauzers got hurt bad from trying to jump up on it and had to have surgery. He had to have an orthopedic doctor do the surgery and it was a long time healing. Thats why we bought the other bed. We would get no sleep at all if they were not on the bed with us because they both sit and do this little cry thing to get back on the bed if they happened to get down to go tee tee or something. |
