Once the light goes out they usually settle in. Zack burrows between our pillows. Zeke in the back of my knees and Zoey between us. Zack and Zoey use the steps by my pillow but Zeke prefers the air borne route. The top of our bed is 18 inches off the floor. Although they are bigger "pups" at 12 1/2, 10 1/2 and 9 lbs I do worry about them on the bed but more when they take the leap off the bed and onto the tiled floor. By the way, Old Zipp likes his own little puppy bed on the floor where there is less of a crowd and it is easier for him to hit the pad/s if he has to go potty.
