Hello and welcome! We just got through 8 weeks of crate rest as well. I know it's tough. Something that REALLY helped us was buying a pet stroller. We got one that comes apart to be a carrier as well, but it was so much easier than hauling a crate around! Layla wanted to be with us all the time, so putting her in a stroller and being able to wheel her around was great. If the weather is nice, you can also take your yorkie for walks in the stroller, and it might tire him out with all the scents and fresh air! If you don't give in to his crying now, it will get easier.
