IMO...totally worth it. We pay about $500 a year for illness and wellness from Embrace. We figured over the life of our pooch, $6000. In the first 11 months of Dori's life, we have been reimbursed over $600 (spaying, giardia, labs). Some owners choose to put aside a monthly medical fund. Any way you look at it, our furbutts are expensive!
