Although he was totally against my getting Gage (our rescue), he agreed to a one month "trial" to see how he and Gabby got along and I agreed to try to find a very good home for him in case it didn't work out. Well, that was over six months ago and Gage is still with us. Hubby will joke and tell Gage we're gonna find him a new home then he'll pick him up, scratch his head and ears, give him a kiss, then say I'm just kidding, you're going no where! He is "smitten" with the furbabies and sees to their every need if I'm not there. He is absolutely wonderful - has been for all of our 20 years together
