I assume that you already know of the difficulties that can (and most likely will) happen after the delivery. She might need a pre-scheduled c-section which will add another aspect of concern. Then, since she is so small, eclampsia is a huge concern. Nursing 1 or 2 small puppies might be okay, but a large number of puppies is sure to drain her of calcium..
If you are going to have to supplement feed, you should ask your vet to instruct and supervise you in tube-feeding the babies. If they are really small, they will be worn out from suckling and you will be also..Tube feeding has saved many lives of small puppies...
Also, ask the vet about the best time to have her spayed. I do not have it done at a c-section if there are more than 2 puppies. I have medical background and have issues with that practice. So, I schedule spaying when puppies can be safely maintained; I have dentals at the same time and retire the girl. Usually to a pet home for the cost of spaying and dental work..
