There was a thread on this subject recently and a couple people wrote that yogurt does not have sufficient probiotics, so they give a powder or liquid supplement. I'll try to find the thread for you.
I give my boys Fage plain 2% yogurt, barely 1 teaspoon, 2 x per day. Max has been eating this same amount from the time he was a 3 pound pup.
