First stop for me would be a vet check up. It sounds like the itching could be an allergy (may be the cats, or could be food), and if that think yellow isn't the anal glands - she could have a real bad urinary infection or something. I'd get her in for a check up asap. If she's not feeling well, maybe she's just lethargic and not her usualy happy self?
