We take several vacations a year and were lucky to find a friends parents that dog sit for us...we take the boys to their house and they love em....when we are going to be gone for a whole day we take them to Camp...and they know where they are going...it works out great for all of us...we pay them and they love the boys and the boys love them....ask around, friends, co-workers etc maybe you will stumble on someone...good luck~
