Have you taken your new pup to the vet yet? What does your vet recommend?
Sounds like your pup is hungry. A walnut size only 3 times a day doesn't seem like enough. I got my pup young too and my vet set a feeding schedule of every 4 hours, so 6 times a day, as it's very important to keep their blood sugar levels even with regular feedings at such a young age. And water should always be available.
