Yorkies are well known to have expensive medical conditions that can end up costing thousands. It can happen in the blink of an eye. I strongly advise you to make sure that your or the children will have a plan on what to do if an emergency arises.
I suggest that you browse the sick and injured forum to see some of the things that can happen.
