7 Weeks of age, just being weaned. And one of the most critical times in a yorkie pups life is between 7 and 8 weeks of age....many die at this age. Not to mention initial vaccination is not given until 8 to 9 weeks. Let alone the stress a pup experiences leaving it's mom and litter mates can bring on Coccidia, hyperglycemia, etc.

You've mentioned several reasons as not to take a pup home prior to 12 weeks; 16 weeks better as they've been able to have Bile Acids performed.
