Is the crate next to the bed? Can he see you? Maybe put it close enough that you can put your fingers thru when he starts. When Tia came home, I put her kennel on top of Ally's so she could see me. If she started to move I stuck my fingers thru and she sniffed/licked and settled down. Tia is now 1 yr and Ally is 2 yrs. If they start to cry...and I know they don't need out...I just give that baby a 'firm' NO...and she stops. You might limit his food/water before bedtime too. Your baby has already created his pattern though, so it's going to be tough. Good luck. |
