 Cooked chicken breast -- how much per week?
So, I was curious.
I'm getting tired of spending so much money on dog treats. It seems to me it'd be a lot cheaper to use chicken as training treats sometimes rather than buying so many dog treats that I go through so quickly. We do a lot of clicker training so we go through a lot of treats.
Do you think I could boil just a plain chicken breast and keep it in the fridge for maybe 5 days and give him little bits throughout the week? As training treats? He's 16lbs and eats 1/2 cup of Orijen per day (with a bit of wet food in every meal), how much chicken would be too much?
I would probably do this once every other week so it wouldn't be an eating chicken every single day thing. |
