Thyroid imbalances cause hair loss and are very common in older dogs. Lady's been on thyroid medication for many years. It's a very easy and inexpensive condition to treat. |
I would second the Thyroid. My Beans, just started to show hair thinning and I'm going to have the same done. He's three this March.
